He is the Medical Director of the Athletic Training and Sports Performance Center at Robert Wood Johnson Somerset Hospital in Somerville, NJ. Dr. Abrutyn was named as Select Surgeon for Sports Medicine in 2018 by New Jersey Monthly Magazine, Jersey Choice Top Doctors in 2017, New Jersey Top Docs, and Patients Choice Most Compassionate Doctor Award. Dr. Abrutyn has written and published several articles and a book chapter. He has been an invited lecturer and Instructor at the Arthroscopy Association Learning Center. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. McCoy earned her M.D. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, her Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at North Carolina Memorial and she completed her Fellowship in Pulmonary Disease from Arizona Health Science Center. Dr. McCoy is a Physician at Nationwide Children’s Hospital- Ohio State University, Chief of the Division of Pulmonary Medicine, and a Professor of Pediatrics at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. McCoy is the Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Center and has funded a research and development program. She manages patients with Cystic Fibrosis and Pediatric Asthma and her research interest revolves around clinical outcomes and trials in Cystic Fibrosis and Asthma. She was involved in organizing Nassau County Special Olympics as a coach for 8 sports and formed the first team to participate in the New York State Games opening participation for public schools .She is a member of the Fogo Azul NYC all female Brazilian drummers playing the caixia (snare).
