Ms. Jackson taught Art to 10 children who were homeschooled for 2 semesters. Ms. Jackson was injured with a concussion and was told to take art and to take pictures of old barns, and architectural old houses and draw them. She did a paper on a child who had difficulty in math to take art to improve their math, it stimulates areas of the brain. Dr. Randi D. Ward earned a master’s in education/Teaching of the Gifted and Talented at Marshall University in 1979 and a B.A. in Language Arts at Marshall University. Dr. Ward began her career as a remedial reading and English teacher at a WV junior high school, after which she taught throughout schools in both West Virginia and Georgia for a total of 37 years. Throughout the course of her professional journey, Dr. Ward also served as an English (ESOL) teacher in Cairo, Egypt, where she additionally worked as the owner and instructor of 6 October English Institute and Rise Up. Dr. Ward is also a certified harmony life coach, emotional and holistic intelligence coach, and an NLP practitioner.
She is now a Book Writing Coach and Master Editor. Besides her love for animals, traveling, and meeting new people around the world, she enjoys photography, reading to learn new ideas every day, personal fitness training, shopping and finding bargains, dancing and music, and chatting online with her 5000 Facebook friends and 3400+ followers in 60 countries as well as video chatting with some of them.
She was married to her recently deceased husband Bill for 47 years and has one son Mark, the art director of Germany’s Readers Digest. She now shares her life with her Saint Bernard dog Savannah.
