Dr. Garcia, received his medical degree in 1993 from The Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Cuba. Upon arriving in the USA, he began the arduous task of revalidating his medical degree. During this time, he also worked as a mental health counselor, which cemented his love for psychiatry and propelled him to specialize in it. Dr. Garcia feels the he is very fortunate to have been able to pursue his dream as a psychiatrist. He has been in practice over 11 years.
