Dr. Richard Hilburn earned his M.D. at the Medical College of Georgia in 1990, his residency at Eisenhower Medical Center, and completed a fellowship at George Washington University. He is with Goals of Care, located in Reston, Virginia. He has twenty-five years of continuous outpatient and inpatient practice experience and is Board Certified in internal medicine and Geriatrics. Dr. Hilburn has extensive experience in health systems leadership includes policy development, implementation, and operational oversight. He has broad conventional and unconventional experience ranging from concept development, functional design, staffing models, deployment, and execution. Dr. Hilburn has received an Order of Military Medical Merit and a Commander of Military Medical Contingency from both Presidential Inauguration and President Obama.  He is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine for Geriatric Medicine.
