Dr. Luiz L. Diaz is Board-Certified in Neurology and Psychiatry. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and Neurology residency at the State University of New York. There, he also received training on MRI of the brain and spinal cord interpretation which qualified him to be a member of the American Society of Neuroimaging. Dr. Diaz completed a fellowship in the treatment of brain tumors at the University of California in San Francisco. His office has an infusion suite so he can treat with intravenous medications for Neurodegenerative Disorders. He does a lot of work with multiple sclerosis and Myasthenia Gravis. Dr. Diaz is the Youngest Chief Resident of Neurology at the State University of New York hospital consortium and he has been named as Top Doctor Excellence in Medicine. Dr. Diaz is a member of the American Society of Neuroimaging and the American Medical Association.
