Holbrook, New York- Dr. Banafsheh Yafeh is dual-board-certified in Neurology and Stroke/Vascular Neurology. Her special interests include treating patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, TIA, vascular malformations, and aneurysms. She specializes in primary and secondary stroke prevention. She finds her role as a Stroke Neurologist meaningful, because of the opportunity to provide her patients with the best neurological and medical care throughout their entire stroke recovery process.
Additionally, she treats patients with a wide range of neurological disorders such as headaches, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, movement disorders, (such as Parkinson’s disease and tremors), dementia and more.
