Cynthia S. Beard earned her MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She has worked as a Human Resource, Manpower, and Workforce Development Specialist with the Army, and for the Department of Homeland Security with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency as a Workforce Planning Program Specialist. Ms. Beard served 27 years in the US Army both as an enlisted Soldier and officer, retiring as a Major. She has spent the last 15 years as a Civil Servant. She is currently a Workforce Planner with the Veterans Benefits Administration, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She is a Lifetime Member of the Girl Scouts and served five years with the Girl Scouts North American Overseas Council as their Second Vice President.
