Brenda F. Jones MD, FAAO, earned a BA in Biology at Brown University. She received her Medical Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, and her Medical Training and Residency in Ophthalmology was completed at the University of Tennessee.
She joined the USNR where she spent 3 years and was Assistant Dept head of Ophthalmology at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
She moved to Ohio where she practiced general ophthalmology for 30+ years, specializing in medical and surgical procedures including cataract, corneal, glaucoma, strabismus, eyelid, RK and Lasik; also glaucoma and retinal lasers.
She has been with Richens Eye Center in Utah and Nevada since 2018 and focuses on medical ophthalmology, Yag and glaucoma lasers and some eyelid surgeries. Dr. Jones is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and member of the American Medical Association.
