New York, New York- Dr. Matthew B. Smith earned his M.D. in Psychiatry and Neurology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, he completed his residency in Psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine.
Dr. Matthew B Smith is an expert in treating adult attention deficit disorder, mood and personality disorders and chronic pain, Mr. Smith has achieved more than 40 years of professional experience. He has excelled as a psychiatrist in private practice since 1985 and previously thrived in his work as a psychiatrist with NYU Langone Health between 1977 and 2010.
Additionally, he was an attending psychiatrist at NYC Health + Hospitals/ Bellevue from 1987 to 2009. He hosted a Symposium on ‘Changing the Culture’ of Pain Treatment. Dr. Smith is a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
