Stanley Smith received a diploma in Ceramics at North Staffordshire Polytechnic. He is in a private practice. Stanley is a consultant and specializes in ceramic manufacturing, public speaking, and compliance. He has numerous papers presented or published which include, Training and Assessment in the Refractories Industry in 2005, Experiences in Refractories Contracts, Sheffield University in 2002, 2004 and 2007, Developments in Hot Blast Stoves, Institute of Refractories Engineers in 2002, Future Developments in the Refractories Industry, Institute of Materials in 2002. Stanley is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials.
