Jupiter, Florida- Ricardo Mejia MD, FAAD, FASMS, MD’s training is extensive having a degree in biomedical engineering, fellowship in hair transplantation surgery, and a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and the University of Kansas Medical Center Dermatology Residency Program. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. Dr. Mejia has performed thousands of Mohs and plastic surgery reconstructions. His patients comment on his excellent cosmetic results with the inability to recognize many of the surgeries that he has done. Dr. Mejia is one of the only MDs in the nation that is Board Certified in dermatology and dermatologic surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Hair Restoration surgery having done an extensive Fellowship in hair transplantation. He is an expert at skin and facial anatomy. Dr. Mejia has a variety of lasers and cosmetic services to help with skin rejuvenation and restoration.
