Dr. Rafeak Muhammad received his M.D. at New York Medical College in 1979. After completing his internship in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College (Metropolitan), he attended Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine for his residency in Ophthalmology from 1980-1983.
Dr. Muhammad has been practicing as an Ophthalmologist for over 35 years. He is currently in private practice in South Richmond Hill, Queens NY. As a medical eye physician, he diagnoses and treats a variety of diseases such as Glaucoma, Dry Eye, Cataract as well as eye injuries.
Dr. Muhammad is currently licensed to practice medicine in New York and New Jersey. He is affiliated with Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Muhammad is a member of the AAO, ABPS, and the Medical Societies of New York State and New York County.
