She founded the Bullier House in honor of her grandparents. It is a non-profit that creates safe houses across the US. Lisa writes poetry and has 2 books to her credit. Algimantas S. Kerpe, M.D., earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine, University of Illinois, Chicago, Ill.; completed an internship in psychiatry at the University of Illinois Hospital, Chicago, Ill.; and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Kerpe also held positions as clinical instructors in medicine at both University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago and Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital. His clinical interests include diabetes, hypertension, migraines, stress, and anxiety, and keeps an open mind to alternative/complementary therapies.

Dr. Kerpe has been practicing in the Geneva, Tri-Cities area, for more than 30 years. His solo, independent practice is relationship-based and emphasizes a philosophy of active “Primary Caring—Where Health Meets Heart.” Many longstanding relationships he established continue to bring patients from across the country to see him. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He recently received a local Top Internist Award and in 2020, Geneva’s Best of the Fox Award.
