Jimmie C. Jackson, Jr. earned a BBA in Marketing at Texas A&M University in 1976, an M.S. in Personnel Supervision & Management from Troy University in 1988 and a 2nd M.S. at National War College in National Security Strategy in 1994. He was named as a Texas A&M University Distinguished Military Graduate in 1976 and the 1980 Military Airlift Command Outstanding Junior Officer of the Year. He was also honored as a 2005 Ellis Island Medal of Honor awardee. Mr. Jackson is a 33- year Veteran of the United States Air Force and is a Retired Brigadier General.
He is the Vice President of Business Development and Capture at NIKA Solutions. He contributes directly to opportunity identification, research, development, shaping, win strategy development, and proposal development activities leading to the successful capture of new business and re-compete opportunities. He is a key member of the Company’s Strategic Growth Team (SGT). The SGT developed annual pipelines valued over $3.5B. The SGT develops NIKA’s pipeline of Multiple Award Task Order Contracts, Single Award Task Order Contracts, and Design/Build pursuits with values of $200M to $990M. He also established business partnerships with both large and small companies to enhance growth and access to new markets. Mr. Jackson received an IT Executive Award in 2011.
