Dr. Ostad has an impressive academic background, having received his BA and MD magna cum laude from NYU School of Medicine, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and received a Founders Day Scholars Award for academic excellence. He completed his general medicine internship at Harvard Medical School, followed by a dermatology residency at NYU. Dr. Ostad then went on to complete specialized training in Mohs micrographic surgery laser and cosmetic surgery at UCLA.
Dr. Ostad is not only a highly skilled dermatologist but also a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at NYU. He is one of the few dermatologists in the country with board certifications as a dermatologist, a dermatologic surgeon, and a facial cosmetic surgeon. Dr. Ostad’s credentials and expertise have earned him numerous accolades, including being listed as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly and RealSelf, as well as being named a New York Super Doctor.
Dr. Ostad’s patients praise him for his professionalism, compassion, and exceptional patient care. His dedication to his patients has earned him the prestigious NYU Surgical Attending of the Year award three times.
