Holbrook, New York- M Chadi Alraies, MD MPH FACC FSCAI is the medical director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory, cardiac rehab, and director of interventional cardiology research at Harper University Hospital and Heart Hospital at Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan USA. He is an assistant clinical professor at Wayne State University. He received his medical degree from the School of Medicine, the University of Aleppo in Syria. He completed his internship and residency at Case Western University / St Vincent Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the University of Minnesota, where he also received his Master of Public Health. He completed his interventional cardiology training at Wayne State University / Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Dr. Alraies clinical and research interest is focused on complex coronary interventions, mechanical circulatory support, large bore vascular access, and medical education. He published more than 280 manuscripts in major peer-review journals and several book chapters on topics related to complex coronary interventions, mechanical circulatory support, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement. He has a special interest in digital and social media as learning tools for healthcare providers. He is a speaker and moderated at national and interventional cardiovascular educational programs focused on interventional cardiology techniques, science, and publications with experts in the field of interventional cardiology.
