Dr. Bert E. Williams earned his M.D. and completed in residency in General Surgery/ Urology at Howard College of Medicine in 1993. He is the founder of Mid-Maryland Urologic Services with offices in Frederick, Maryland, and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and he has received a Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2016 and 2018, a Compassionate Doctor certification is granted to physicians who treat their patients with the utmost kindness. The honor is granted based on a physician’s overall and bedside manner scores. He also received a Patients’ Choice Award in 2018, a Patients’ Choice recognition reflects the difference a particular physician has made in the lives of his/her patients. The honor is bestowed to physicians who have received near-perfect scores, as voted by patients. Dr. Williams also received Top Doctor awards from Frederick Health Hospital. Dr. Williams is board certified by the American Board of Urology and a member of the Maryland State Medical Society. In his free time, he enjoys painting, art, spending time with family, and traveling.
