Analyn Joens OTR/L, Ed.D. received a Doctor of Health Education from Far East Advent School of Theology International and an M.A. in Special Education from the University of the Philippines in 2013. She earned a B.S. in Occupational Therapy at Emilio Aguinaldo College. She is presently attending Gannon University for Post Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate. After having taught special education for 18 years, Ms. Joens founded Altair Educational and Therapeutic Services LLC to help parents support and manage their special needs children. Altair offers Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Physical Therapy to help with developmental growth and daily functioning for children with special needs. She is also a part-owner of the J&A Home Rental business. Ms. Joens holds an Occupational Therapy license in the United States and the Philippines. She has received an Arizona Teaching Certificate and is a Registered Occupational Therapist with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Ms. Joens is a member of the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, National Education Association, and The American Occupational Therapy Association.
