He is Board certified in OB/GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Dr. Cantero is certified in robotic surgery. His interest is in minimally invasive surgery, urogynecology, aesthetic and cosmetic gynecology procedures. He is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Member of the American Medical Association, Dr. Cantero is also is a member of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at various hospitals around South Florida. She specializes in blood banking, chemistry, hematology, microbiology and drawing blood. Helen received a Medical Technologist III Award from Iowa Methodist Center in Des Moines. She is a member of the ASCP. In her free time, she keeps score for men’s softball league ‘Happy Rock Softball’ and enjoys crochet, audio books, hockey and visits with family.
