Dr. Shelley L. Williams earned her M.D. at Meharry Medical College in 1990, graduating with honors and had completed her residency in Family Medicine at Howard University. She is a physician in private practice serving the Silver Spring area for many years. She is located at Alternative Primary Care, 8241 Georgia Avenue, Suite 102, in Silver Springs, Maryland. Dr. Williams is affiliated with Holy Cross Hospital. Dr. Williams is licensed to practice by the state board in Maryland. Davida Cartwright earned her B.S. from Indiana State University and attended the Indiana Therapeutic Massage School and received a Massage Therapy License. She has trained under Ed Cook, of Ed Cook’s Professional Massage, who since retired and turn it over to Davida who renamed it Wabash Valley Massage. She is now Owner and a Massage Therapist, who specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, active and isolated stretches, Thai and cranial release therapy. She also runs the day to day operations, schedules appointments and massages and handles the accounts receivable and accounts payable. She received a Reader’s Choice Award and was included in the Terre Haute Award Program. Davida’s spa has been named “Best of Massage Spa” for 2018 and 2019 from the Business Hall of Fame. She is a member of the Association of Massage and Body Work Practitioners, a Local Member of the Chamber of Commerce and has been accredited with the BBB.
