Dr. Vaughan’s journey in medicine began with her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, followed by earning her medical doctorate at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. She further honed her expertise through residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she won two teaching awards before returning to Texas to practice in Austin.
With a strong background in OB/GYN hospitalist medicine, Dr. Vaughan served as the director of a program in Colorado for three years. After twelve years of focusing on hospital-based care, she is excited to transition back to office-based practice. Dr. Vaughan will also have privileges at Baylor Scott & White – Centennial, enhancing her ability to provide comprehensive care to her patients.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Vaughan and her husband share a love for travel, hiking, skiing, and spending quality time with their cherished French Bulldogs.
