Colonel George Satterthwaite, II, earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. at Johns Hopkins University. He served in the U.S. Army and specialized in Security and National Defense. He has earned many awards including the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (3 times), Cold War Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, SAR Bronze Good Citizenship Medal, SAR War Service Medal, and a SAR Meritorious Service Medal. He is a Chapter Secretary, Sons of American Revolution; Alumni Executive Board, Sidwell Friends School and Chairman of the Alumni Fundraising Committee; Executive Board, Piscataway Hills Citizens Association (Local); Location Leader, Wreaths Across America.

Sharon Willingham earned a bachelor’s at Texas Tech. Her career started in her family’s ladies apparel store in 1969 when she was a senior in high school. She worked there for 27 years before going in to teaching special ed students, which she did for 10 years. In 2005 she took over the reins of the family ranch Willingham Land & Cattle Co. Inc. which they have had since the 1880’s. During this role she has kept the corporation debt free and in the black, guided the development of hunting and grazing leases, as well as oil, gas, and pipeline interests. Ms. Willingham is also mentoring the next generation for the time the torch will need to be passed. Willingham Land & Cattle Co. Inc. has been recognized from Austin Texas Legislator as Family Ranch for over 100 years.

Larissa Ann Campbell received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree at the University of NC at Pembroke. She is a Med Tech/ Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Bladen East Health and Rehab, an Assisted Living/Rest Home facility located in North Carolina. She assembles linens and toiletry items on the nurse aide cart to accommodate the resident’s needs. She informs housekeeping staff, if residents need paper items or trashbags. Larissa also passes out breakfast/ lunch trays and assists with set-up/ feeding residents. She separates dirty clothes, checks blood sugar levels and calls the doctor if needed. In addition, Larissa gives insulin shots according to sliding scale instructions listed on the eMAR and makes copies of resident’s recent labwork along with additional documents for upcoming doctor’s appointments.
During her time at UNCP, Larissa participated in LeaderShape and Catalyst workshops. Furthermore, she was a member of Lambda Sigma Honor Society in 2010-2011 and an artwork contributor for the “The Aurochs” Literary Arts Magazine. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in May 2014, she continues her studies at Southeastern Community College. She was nominated as a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society by the college in December 2015. Larissa finished with the title of second place female, age group 30-39, after participating in the ‘Rams On The Run 5K’ marathon held at SCC campus in May 2022.
Larissa earned the title of Junior Marshall in both middle school and high school. Based on her academic achievement, Larissa was in the National Honor Society and Senior Beta Club, when she was in high school; she was in the Junior Beta Club in middle school. She was chosen as a recipient of Who’s Who Among American High School Students in 2005-2006. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, painting, paint night, cooking, running 5K marathons, and writing.

Thomas J. Salyer earned an MBA in Computer Science at UNC. He was a Senior Network Engineer for Dell and HP. He is a Microsoft Certified Engineer, Microsoft Certified Teacher, Linux Certified, Net+ and A+ certified. Thomas has started a new company called Blue Mountain Senior Care that builds assisted living facilities, there are 12 in the works currently around North Chesterfield. His facilities provide 24 hour nursing care and personal attention unlike larger living facilities. Thomas’s grandmother was the inspiration for his new company. Thomas is also a real estate investor and this new company is a subsidiary of his larger company TJS GLOBAL SOLUTIONS. He has been featured in the men’s magazine ‘He Is’.

Christina J. Wickerham earned a B.S. at The Ohio State University. Ms. Wickerham has been a Generalist with Aureus Medical Staffing for 2+ years and has 20+ years of experience. She is taking on a new position as a Medical Technologist at Rush Copley Medical Center. She travels mostly in the Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. She is a certified medical technologist through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Ms. Wickerham is a member of several Home Improvement Groups. She enjoys traveling in her free time.
