Joan Grady MA, CCC-SLP, received her undergraduate degree at New Paltz, her Masters at Columbia University, with a full 2 year paid scholarship. Ms. Joan G. Grady is a Speech-Language Pathologist in Westchester & Putnam Counties with special training and skill in preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive, communication, swallowing, and neurological disorders arising from illness, injury, deficiency, congenital birth defects and brain trauma.
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, Joan G. Grady, MA CCC-SLP,’s caseload has included remediation of cognition, fluency, production, and receptive/expressive language disorders which included training in basic sign language as well as designing and programming assistive communication devices and training her caseload in the use of alternative assistive communication devices as appropriate.
In addition to her private practice, Ms. Grady has taught college courses at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, co-scripted & participated in a training film for the Speech Department at the University of Pittsburgh, co-authored & presented a paper at Closing the Gap’s 1st conference in assistive technology for the disabled.

Charles J. Duffy, M.D., Ph.D., earned his M.D., and his Ph.D. in Cognitive Neurophysiology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed a medical internship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, a Neurology Residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and a post-doctoral fellowship at the National Eye Institute NIH in Bethesda MD. For the past 28 years, Dr. Duffy was formerly a Professor of Neurology at Rochester University and was a Cognitive Neurologist at Penn State Health Medical Center. He is taking over a new position as Director of Brain Health and Memory Program at the University Hospital of Cleveland. Dr. Duffy specializes in Alzheimer’s disease and other dementing illnesses and memory and cognitive disorders in older adults. He has published 100+ articles and book chapters. He received a Roland P. MacKay Award, a 22nd Essay Contest, from the American Academy of Neurology, and a William Martin Cabot Honorary Scholarship, at Harvard College, Cambridge, MA.

McCoy earned her M.D. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, her Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at North Carolina Memorial and she completed her Fellowship in Pulmonary Disease from Arizona Health Science Center. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine and Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Ronica Watkins Babers earned her Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Arlington – School of Urban Planning and Public Policy; her master’s at the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs at Syracuse University; she received her undergraduate degree from Oklahoma University. She was named a Woodrow Wilson Fellow upon successful completion of the Summer Public Policy Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. The purpose of the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship national program is to prepare leaders and engage networks to meet educational challenges. The fellowship provided her an opportunity to attend the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs at Syracuse.
Dr. Watkins has been with Dallas County for 18 years. She has been the budget officer for the past 2.5 years. Dallas County is the second-largest urban county in Texas. Dr. Watkins remains committed to developing a fiscally-sound budget and continuing the development of the budget guidelines. She is a member of the GFOA, and Delta Sigma Theta.
Dr. Watkins is enthusiastic and committed to helping people. She has extensive professional work experience working in various public organizations, i.e., non-profit organizations, higher education, and county government. During her tenure at the Tulsa Community Action Program, she coordinated program operations between departments, administering fifteen major projects simultaneously. In her past time, she enjoys bicycling, reading, and crafting.
