Richard G. Cowan was a Technical Director at Clemson University. He was with the department of Performing Arts and spent 60 years in the industry, as an actor, director, playwright, designer, technician and worked on the scene shop, design and made sets for the shows. He has received 2 awards from the Kennedy Center they are both for the American College Theater Festival Meritorious Achievement Awards for Excellence in Technology. Richard is a member of Alpha Psi Theatre Fraternity, and the American Association of Community Theatre. Since his retirement he enjoys playing golf, spending time with family, a son, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and is a Civil Air Patrol Student Pilot, at Clemson Oconee County Airport.

Dr. Potter received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Southern California. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Women’s Hospital and completed his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center under the direction of Robert Schenken. Dr. Potter is double board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in both obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Potter founded HRC Fertility Orange County in 1998 and practices out of the Newport Beach and Fullerton offices. His research interests having concentrated on pre-implantation genetic testing of embryos, he was part of a team at Natera that created and validated much of the technology in use today in this area. Dr. Potter’s clinical practice is focused on assisted reproductive technology, particularly in vitro fertilization, pre-implantation genetic testing, egg and embryo donation, surrogacy and recurrent pregnancy loss. Dr. Potter is also a noted hysteroscopic surgeon, serving as a tertiary referral for complex cases. Dr. Potter has treated patients from all 50 states, more than 40 countries and every continent except Antarctica.
