Dr. Mensah received his Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire and earned his MD at the University of Illinois at Chicago Health Science Center. He completed his residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, and his internship in Internal Medicine was at Cook County Health and Hospital Systems from 1986-1987.
With over 21 years of experience in the field of anesthesiology, Dr. Mensah has distinguished himself as a Chief Anesthesiologist at Bixby Hospital, now Hickman Hospital. He is highly skilled and speaks three languages: French, German, and English.
Dr. Mensah has received numerous awards throughout his training, including being named Physician of the Year. He is a proud member of the Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists and formerly the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
In addition to his busy professional life, Dr. Mensah enjoys soccer, golf, and traveling on vacations.
