Born in London, United Kingdom, and raised in Pakistan, Dr. Memon completed her medical education at the prestigious Aga Khan University in Karachi. Following medical school, she relocated to the United States to pursue advanced medical training, completing her internship at the University of Illinois in Chicago and her pediatric residency at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Her diverse international training and clinical experience have helped shape a culturally aware, holistic approach to pediatric care.
Dr. Memon is American Board–certified in Pediatrics and ABOM certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based strategies that address childhood wellness, nutrition, and preventive health. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and an active member of both the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AzAAP).
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Memon serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona, where she works as a Community Preceptor teaching medical students, helping to educate and mentor the next generation of physicians. She also holds hospital privileges at Tucson Medical Center (TMC).
Throughout her career, Dr. Memon has practiced pediatrics in both the United States and the United Arab Emirates, bringing valuable international clinical experience to the families she serves. She is passionate about building long-term relationships with parents and children and often utilizes motivational interviewing techniques to support families in developing sustainable, healthy lifestyles.
Deeply committed to child advocacy and community service, Dr. Memon serves as the Medical Champion for the Reach Out and Read program at her clinic and volunteers with Operation Smile, reflecting her dedication to improving children’s health both locally and globally.
