He previously served as Director of the Division of General Internal Medicine and as Medical Director of the Harborside Medical Group, where he played an instrumental role in enhancing clinical operations and improving quality of care. For nearly two decades, he served as Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program, mentoring countless physicians and establishing enduring standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellence.

Nationally recognized for his expertise in accreditation and physician training standards, he was appointed to a prestigious six-year term on the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education Accreditation Appeals Panel for Internal Medicine. He also served as Chair of the Internal Medicine Residency Review Committee, the governing body responsible for regulating all internal medicine residency and subspecialty training programs across the United States.
