Dr. Alexandra E. Hovaguimian earned her M.D. from George Washington University School of Medicine in 2006, her Residency in Neurology and Fellowship in Neurophysiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Hovaguimian is a neurologist at Harvard Faculty Medical Practice. She is also an assistant professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. She identifies & treats neurological conditions, which come from abnormalities in the central and peripheral nervous systems. Her focus areas include headache and autonomic disorders. Dr. Hovaguimian has received a Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2015/2016 and several teaching awards. She is affiliated with Harvard Practice Medical Practice/ Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is the Harvard Medical School Neurology Clerkship Director.
