Shapiro has performed over 2600 Shoulder surgeries and 3600 knee surgeries, helping countless patients recover from orthopaedic issues and sports-related injuries. His commitment to patient safety and excellence in surgical care has been recognized through accolades like the Patients Safety Excellence Award and inclusion on the Health Grades Honor Roll.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Shapiro has been actively involved in research and education, leading to numerous publications and presentations in the field of Orthopaedics. He has served as the team physician for the Major League Lacrosse team, the Florida Launch, further showcasing his passion for sports medicine.
