Dr. Nevarez is renowned for her expertise in promoting healthy living in older adults. She completed her medical education at the prestigious Universidad Central de Caribe School of Medicine, graduating with honors. She continued her medical training by completing her Residency at the University of Puerto Rico and her Fellowship at the Veteran’s Hospital in San Juan.
Dr. Nevarez currently practices in Gurabo and San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she provides exceptional medical care to her patients. She specializes in Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine, where she focuses on promoting healthy living and wellbeing in older adults.
Dr. Nevarez is an active member of the American Geriatric Society and is on the Faculty at Hima Hospital. She is also a dedicated educator, sharing her expertise with future medical professionals to help them better understand the unique needs of older adults.
