Frederick, Maryland- John P. Higinbotham graduated from Mt. St. Mary’s College with a BS in Biology. He obtained his doctorate of optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. Dr Higinbotham started Fredericktowne Eye Care and is located at 1202 East Patrick Street, Suite 4 in Frederick, Maryland.
He specializes in primary care, emergency, pediatric, contact lenses, and laser consultation. Dr Higinbotham has over 30 years experience, he works with his patients and takes the time to be thorough. He was awarded Clinical Excellence in Pediatrics and is a member of the American Optometric Association, Lions Club and other community organizations. In his free time, he enjoys restoring historic automobiles.
