John Harrison worked with the Dale Carnegie Institute from 1998-2006, where he instructed the human relations and public speaking, sales, and management courses. Having majored in chemistry and forensic science at the CA State University Los Angeles, he finished college in 1969. John has 6 years of varied experience as a technician in analytical and medical labs. He sold high-tech medical diagnostic and monitoring equipment for surgery, intensive care, maternity, and emergency rooms. John was an owner  operator of an electronic component manufacturer in the USA and Mexico for 14 years and successfully sold his interest in Toltec Industries, Inc. After Toltec, he founded MEMcor, a manufacturers’ rep firm in the electronic component industry, which he ran for 8 years, until a cerebral aneurism led to his retirement. After a good experience following John’s advice, a customer friend suggested that John be a capital development and start-up business consultant. Which he has done for 24 years. John and his clients hold several patents.
