Joanne P. Underhill, Esq., obtained her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in 1979 and her B.A. from Yale University in 1973. She is a member of the first class at Yale University to include women undergraduates. She is the founder of the law firm Underhill Law, P.C., located at 7350 East Progress Place, Suite 110, Greenwood Village, Colorado. She specializes in business, tax and real estate law and litigation. The attorneys at her law firm have extensive experience representing business clients for a wide variety of business and commercial transactions. In addition to her law practice, Ms. Underhill is a co-founder and chairman of the board of LegalPlan, Inc., which has developed a revolutionary, new, cloud-based legal practice management and client service application called ClearLegal that attorneys and law firms can use to transform their practices into web services. Ms. Underhill is a past member of the Colorado State Board of Accountancy by gubernatorial appointment. She has been honored with the National Honor Award from Girl Scouts U.S.A. and the Woman of Distinction Award from the Colorado Girl Scouts Council. She has a 10.0 Superb rating from AVVO and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Arapahoe County Bar Association, and the Girl Scouts Women’s Leadership Circle. She is a past chair of the Greenwood Village Parks, Trails and Recreation Commission, past board member of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the Colorado Women’s Bar Association.
